I would like to tell you that this course is going to be different from any other English Language course you have ever studied in the University. I bet it will be the most wonderful one because it uses all the technological tools that you admire starting with introducing you to Blogging and social media and ending with your own mobile phones.
The nature of the course is going to be very simple in a way that you will not find any problem to access its contents. As usual, we will studying English language through our course book LINK UP, which is going to be available in the Department of English. Having the book with you during the classes is indeed going to be obligatory, as all the classes are rolled with it. Generally, the course will include six major components which are the four skills of writing, reading, listening and speaking in addition to Grammar and vocabulary. Secondary recommendations of the course will only need a primary knowledge about using computers, the internet and group discussions which is, am sure, easy for all of you. If not, I am going to be giving you lectures about how to use these tools for the purpose of enriching your computer skills as well as performing excellently in Learning English Language.
This Blog is going to be our Secondary tool after our classroom in the University. That means, you will need to explore its content frequently every week if not daily. I will be posting announcements from time to time to update you with the news. Its also going to provide a suitable environment for your reflections and questions about any component of the course. So, feel free to use it, respond to it, engage in the discussions that will take place, as well as posing any questions related to this course.
